Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for exceptional food, memorable service and outstanding guest experiences? We are working with one of our partners and seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to lead the dining and events operation at their prestigious golf resort hotel and outlets approximately 10 miles from Dundee.
The Role
- Reporting to the senior hotel leadership team, you will take ownership of all food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, bar, clubhouse dining, banqueting and special events. You will lead from the front, inspire a high-performing team and ensure excellent standards, strong commercial results and a warm welcome for every guest.
- Lead, coach and develop the food and beverage team to deliver consistently excellent service.
- Oversee daily operations across restaurants, bars, clubhouse service, functions and events.
- Manage budgets, payroll, stock control, purchasing and departmental performance.
- Drive revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction through effective planning and commercial initiatives.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, licensing, cleanliness and compliance.
- Work closely with the kitchen and events team and wider hotel leadership team.
- Lead a guest-centric culture, empowering your team to anticipate guest needs, confidently resolve feedback at first point of contact and continuously drive improvements to guest satisfaction.
- Support golf days, weddings, conferences, seasonal events and high-volume functions.
- Manage departmental recruitment and retention planning and activity, according to budget/rota planning levels and by agreement of senior management team.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in a quality hotel, resort or high-volume hospitality environment—either as a Food and Beverage Manager or an accomplished Hotel Restaurant Manager ready to progress to the next level.
- A confident and visible leader with strong people-management skills.
- Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets, labour costs and stock.
- Passionate about hospitality and committed to creating memorable guest experiences.
- Organised, adaptable and calm under pressure.
