Head Chef - Scottish Highlands

We are assisting a renowned hotel situated in the Scottish Highlands in their search to recruit a Head Chef. This establishment is well-regarded for its commitment to excellence and its unique location, making it an attractive opportunity for an experienced Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver training for kitchen brigade.
  • As Head Chef you are tasked with motivating and encouraging your team.
  • Lead menu planning, seasonal updates and product innovation across all outlets.
  • Meet full specification, of dishes, costings and brand presentation standards ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Ensure systems, policies and procedures will be customer focussed and health & safety compliant.
  • Regular updates to senior management and ownership of P&L accounts and budgets.
  • Foster an environment of continuous departmental improvement and motivation

What we need from you:

  • Experience in a high-volume hotel or restaurant as a Head Chef.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate proven ability to manage a kitchen and motivate a team.
  • Clearly show evidence of your experience of managing profit and loss and how to continually improve the business working alongside senior managers.
  • Bring a culture to the kitchen that is inclusive, hardworking and respectful.
