We are seeking an Experienced Bar Manager to spearhead the launch of our client's bar concept. This is a temporary position for approximately 4 months.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Opening Phase
- Work collaboratively with owners and design teams on the venue’s layout, equipment selection, and overall bar setup, with a focus on refurbishing an existing bar framework.
- Develop opening budgets, forge supplier relationships, and set up robust inventory systems.
- Recruit, train, and onboard a high-performing bar team, leveraging existing staff for a smooth opening.
- Use corporate templates for all pre and post opening documents
- Design signature cocktail menus and curate an engaging beverage selection.
- Establish clear service, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Lead pre-launch marketing initiatives and coordinate soft opening events.
Post-Opening Phase
- Manage daily bar operations, always striving to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Oversee stock control, ordering processes, and supplier negotiations.
- Monitor team performance, providing ongoing training and mentorship.
- Implement strategies to maximise revenue.
- Maintain strict compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager, ideally with pre-opening expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of Operational Plans, preparation, and execution.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional communication.
- Adept at navigating dynamic, evolving environments.
- A genuine passion for crafting memorable guest experiences.
- Understanding and implementation of compliance with local authorities
- Ideally have a Personal Licence.
